Dr. Shruti Mukkamala is a level 4 certified dentist anesthesiologist offering the full range of sedation services to dental offices. Dental procedures can be completed without fear, pain or anxiety with a customized anesthetic plan for each patient.
Levels of Sedation Offered
Moderate Sedation
Also known as "Conscious Sedation" or "Sedation Dentistry". Patient is comfortably sedated and typically has little recollection of the procedure but can still respond verbally.
Deep Sedation
Patient is in a controlled state of reduced consciousness. Patient has no recollection of the procedure and is in a comfortable, deep sleep.
General Anesthesia
Patient is in a controlled state of unconsciousness and will have no recollection of the procedure. General anesthesia is commonly used for a wide range of procedures including most major surgeries.
